How to make your Computer Boot Faster?

Does your computer take much time to boot up or start? Your computer running on Windows is not running in the same speed that it used to do when you first used it. It is slower, crappy, takes a while to start and tests your patience like anything. Most Windows computers start up more slowly over time because they get bogged down with unnecessary software and folders. Removing them or turning them off will allow your computer to run like it’s brand new. There are many reasons for slow booting of PC. To fix this issue follow the steps described in this tutorial.

It may be surprising that many user spend lot of time in booting up there PC when this issue can be solved by taking some careful measures. Fix the various problem related to booting by following the instructions in order to speed up your system start up.

Remove the unused files or Applications

Windows will run faster if the drive is cleared of unused files and by uninstalling the applications that are not used now. Click the start menu and go to Run, type msconfig in the Run box and hit enter. Under the ‘Start Up’ tab, uncheck the unwanted programs and press OK or disable the program not in use for a long time. These things will make Windows boot faster the next time you turn on the system.

Unplug unnecessary devices

If there is a problem in loading Start Menu items or the Start menu items are loading slowly, then you can go to Run menu by clicking on the start menu and type regedit.exe in the Run window to open the Registry Editor. Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER under Registry editor tab and click on Control Panel, then go to Desktop. Look for Menu Show Delay located on right side of the window, and double click to edit the value. The lower the number specified, the faster the Start Menu items will be loaded.

If the Windows Right Click menu on your computer is loading slow this may be due to too many programs added in there. You need to download a program named shellExView and install it and then modify your context menu to remove unwanted items to speed it up. You can also run the program without installing it and follow the onscreen instructions.
